Aristocrat has partnered with City of Dreams Manila to donate 1,700 food packages to medical infrastructure sites in the Philippines’ capital.
“We know this is a challenging and unsettling time for the local community of Paranaque and we wanted them to know that they are not alone, and together we will get through this,” said Lloyd Robson, general manager of Aristocrat (Asia-Pacific), speaking in late- April. “We’re committed to helping wherever we can, and this is just one way that Aristocrat is giving back to the communities in which we live and work.”
Utilising City of Dreams transportation, Aristocrat donated a total of 1,700 food packages to 10 hospitals and medical centres.
City of Dreams has also provided medical supplies and food donations for staff at at Makati Medical Centre, UP PGH and St Luke’s Medical Centre during the coronavirus crisis.
Elsewhere in Asia, Aristocrat donated a total of 50,000 protective face masks to Macau’s government at the start of March.
“It’s sad to see the community and industry impacted by the events surrounding Covid-19. At Aristocrat, we take our role as a corporate citizen in Macau seriously and are proud that we can support our community when they need it most,” stated Robson.
